La Revista Mexicana de Ciencias Políticas y Sociales es una publicación cuatrimestral (enero-abril; mayo-agosto; septiembre-diciembre) de acceso abierto en la Internet.
La RMCPyS está dirigida a los investigadores, académicos y estudiosos que convergen en la construcción del amplio y diverso campo problemático de lo social; aborda temas afines a las ciencias sociales en general y sus áreas específicas (teoría política, teoría sociológica, comunicación política, opinión pública, gestión y políticas públicas, sociedad y Estado, actores internacionales, procesos de globalización, antropología social, antropología política y lingüística antropológica, entre otros). Como plataforma de producción científica del área de las ciencias sociales, está comprometida con el pluralismo teórico, metodológico y epistemológico.
La Revista nace en 1955 y a lo largo de su historia registra varios cambios en su nombre y contenidos, replanteando su perfil editorial para convertir sus cualidades esenciales en factores multiplicadores al servicio de la generación y comunicación de un nuevo conocimiento disciplinar articulado e integrado, acorde con la (re)evolución epistemológica, científico-tecnológica y comunicacional actual
A partir de 2013, en ésta su Nueva Época, la RMCPyS se erige como foro en el que se exponen conocimientos de excelencia y vanguardia, al tiempo que promueve el diálogo y el debate en torno a interrogantes centrales de nuestro tiempo que convocan, cruzan y expanden las fronteras disciplinarias.
The Mexican Journal of Political and Social Sciences is an open-access quarterly publication issued every four months (January-April; May-August; September-December) and available with open access on the Internetonline.
The RMCPyS is aimed at researchers, academics and scholars who converge in the construction of the widebroad, and diverse and problematic field of the social; it addresses topics related to social sciences in general and their specific areas (political theory, sociological theory, political communication, public opinion, management and public policiespolicy and administration, state and society and the State, international actors, globalization processes, social anthropology, political anthropology and anthropological linguistics , among others). Starting in 2013, in this its New Era, the RMCPyS stands as a forum in which knowledge of excellence and avant-garde are exposed, while promoting dialogue and debate around central questions of our time that summongather, cross and they expand disciplinary boundaries.
